![]() Likewise, there is kind of an attitude of "my mistakes aren't mistakes, but your mistakes are catastrophic," attitude you get from some of the management.Īlso, the date range for when I worked here is BS along with the location. Management is obviously location dependant, but from what I've seen there's a lot of telling you to do something one day only to say that, that's wrong the next day. They've stated repeatedly that the winter is their slow period, and I suspect, based on how almost everyone around me is a new hire that they try to fire off all of the people that they hire in spring and only keep a few around over winter, and then repeat the process next spring. ![]() The biggest issue is that it always feels like they're looking for a reason to fire you which kind of indicates to me that the whole "sign-on bonus," which you don't get until after you've been working there for a while might be a bit scammy, along with the 5 dollars a month membership that you won't get until you've worked there for a long time. Sometimes you'll come home with almost nothing in tips and sometimes you'll come home with a nice sum of money. The job is kind of fun, and the money is okayish depending on how much customers want to tip. I wouldn't really encourage anyone to try and make this a long-term job and certainly not a career.
